Alice Smith

I know its been a long time.

A reeeeeal long time.

And I know I said the next entry would be about Dilla.

Thats coming.

Basically, life has been kicking my butt. My Life is Real.....(c) Mos Def

I've been at work some nights til 1am. So some things (this blog) have been pushed to the back. I will do better. I just dropped thru to share some tracks from an album I've been listening to over and over for the past few days. That would be Miss Alice Smith.

Being raised right here in good ole Washington DC and in Georgia, her CD For Lovers, Dreamers & Me is a mixture of soul, rock, blues and maybe a few other thangs. It has been getting some excellent reviews. So here are 2 of my favorites from the CD.
