Stateless

Its been like...4 months since I last wrote...

Yes, I'm still alive...and Yes, I suck. I'll try to do better.


A few months I came across some music by a group named Stateless.



So far this release stands as my album of the year, with Chrisette Michelle, Mute Math and Kanye West following behind. Their sound is very melodic, similiar to maybe early Coldplay. They have hip hop elements included in their music as well. Check out the 2 tracks I posted here.

Chris James of Stateless sang on a couple tracks frmo DJ Shadow's last album, The Outsider. The standout one (in my opinion) is called 'You Made It.'

might have to check out their album now too...

tia turned me on to these cats a while back (I still remember calling her from DustyGroove to make sure I had the name right). Yeah, their first album(?) art of no state is tight.

i gotta check this other joint out.
