I'll Stay....

I was contemplating what to post about, what direction to go in. I've gotten quite a few CD's over the past week, but nothing really standing out (except for the new Twista CD....good stuff, good stuff). So I decided to do a brief series on cover songs. And some of my favorites. Nothing big...just 3 or 4 entries.

So i'll start off with "I'll Stay". Originally done by Funkadelic (ain't nuthin like Funkadelic bwoy...) in 2003 Roy Hargrove released an album titled HardGroove under the name The RH Factor. This album featured artists such as Common, Erykah Badu, Anthony Hamilton and also D'Angelo...doing his rendition of this Funkadelic tune...I'll Stay. And its not bad if I must say so myself...
