Today is the Greatest Day I've Ever Known

My first semester of college I lived with this small town country white boy named Jason. Jason prolly had met 2 black people prior to rooming with me. There were obvious cultural challenges that would accompany me and Jason's tenure as roommates. But despite all those "Oh My God what did I do to deserve this" moments, I can credit Jason to opening up my musical scope in a way that it had never been opened before.

Jason was a big big Smashing Pumpkins fan, and I remember the first time I heard him play the Siamese Dream album. All I could think was....this is absolutely beautiful.

I wanted to post this song as my intro to 2006 because I truly want every "Today" to be the greatest day I've ever known...
